From intimate weddings to conferences, social and faith-based gatherings, networking events and more, I bring a personal expert touch to every detail blending creativity, organization, and a deep understanding to my clients’ vision. I’ve loved planning and organizing events for as long as I can remember, from helping friends with weddings to coordinating church events. After years of crafting details for others, I realized this was a gift from God to serve and bless people on some of the most important days of their lives. I spent 15+ years planning weddings and events in Chicago before moving to Arizona in 2016.

While I originally came to Arizona to retire, God had other plans! I met my amazing husband, James L. Burkhalter, Jr., and together we relaunched my wedding business in 2022 and started his photography business in 2023. When we’re not planning or photographing weddings, we love hiking, working out, serving in church, and enjoying pizza and movie nights always with a lot of fun and laughter along the way.

    Your wedding day is one of the most important moments of your life, and we take that seriously. We’re here to listen, guide, and create a wedding that’s uniquely you bringing you one step closer to saying 'I Do.

    Your event is our goal! We take the stress off your shoulders while keeping you fully informed every step of the way. You can relax knowing your event is in professional hands, so you and your invited guests can enjoy the planned experience.

Planning any celebration can take 150+ hours or more. As your planner, I’ll handle the heavy lifting—coordinating vendors, creating timelines, and guiding you through every decision. I provide the insight and support you need to choose the best venues and vendors that works for your budget, and stay on track with the deatils, helping you enjoy what is meant to be a stress-free, well-organized event.

  • You’ll know a planner is right for you when their experience, communication ,design style, and planning approach align with your needs. A great planner brings organization, creativity, and calm so you can enjoy the journey.

  • We offer flexible pricing to meet your unique event needs. Our services are available as hourly consulting, flat-fee packages, or percentage-based pricing, depending on the scope, size, and level of support required.
    Packages start at a base rate and are customized to ensure you’re only paying for the services you truly need.

  • No, we don’t only do weddings. While weddings are a specialty, we also plan and design a wide range of events including corporate events, celebrations, showers, anniversaries, birthdays, and faith-based gatherings.

  • YES! We’ll attend vendor meetings and conduct a site visit with you. Wherever you are in your planning, our goal is to walk alongside you and help you make the best decisions every step of the way.

  • YES I DO! We have 2 or 3 team members to help with your event depending on the size and all the moving pieces that are needed.

  • YES, I will be there.
    Attending and facilitating your ceremony rehearsal alongside your Officiant is crucial and is
    automatically included in every package. If your church has specific guidelines that require their team to lead the rehearsal, we will still be present to observe, understand the flow, and respect all house policies so we can support you seamlessly on the wedding day.

  • WOW! YES! We get it.
    DIY planning is exciting until it becomes overwhelming. That’s where we come in. We help you manage the details, refine your vision, and take the pressure off, so you can enjoy the process and focus on what matters most.
